hateleyron: They say 'there's many a true word spoken in jest' and in reply to your post I certainly wasn't using standard fuel - especially considering what was in the engine bay of my Corolla. Thinking back to my 1972 trip to Queensland, I had another close encounter on the way home - when an overtaking car threw up a stone. Can anyone spot where it impacted near the drivers side edge?
