Another vivid memory I have of the Torana G-Pak was this advert by K-Mac Suspension (click on it to see full image) published at around the same time the G-Pak was on sale. The headline certainly grabbed your attention, in claiming that a humble Torana six fitted with a K-Mac suspension upgrade outperformed a Porsche 911S in both cornering g-force and top speed through a slalom course. It was great publicity for K-Mac and GM-H and a portent of things to come given Holden's introduction of its own Radial Tuned Suspension not long after.
