A good example was this tribute to the stillborn 308 V8-powered LJ Torana GTR XU-2 (aka XU-1 V8), which was made to look like it came straight off the showroom floor in 1972. I had to look twice to realise it wasn't a standard XU-1. What a fun project! Left-click to admire the first-class workmanship.
