I don't know which Rotary motor Alan Moffatt had in his RX7 when I saw him at Lakeside, but it went like a scalded cat. His "Signature Model" below looks awesome. It had the 12A Motor. The S1 AMS was Mazdas first foray into the ATCC and was initially destined for the 80,81 season. Denied entry by Cams Allan Moffat was left without a car and the 10 vehicles were sold as the Allan Moffat Special.
