Thanks to all respondents to yesterdays post on the XD Falcon. In retrospect I should have said that the Mk2 Granada "looked to be" the same vehicle so with this in mind I would particularly like to thank Freeway64 for pointing out the differences between the two cars - the most obvious being the (lower) depth of the side windows of the XD. I actually owned a 1980 4.1 XD Falcon S Pack from 1982 to '85 and found it to be both solid and reliable. However, time came when I needed a station wagon and consequently found myself seduced into buying a 1982 3.3 VH Vacationer - and loved it. *In defence of my original post I think you would have to be very sharp to recall the difference in appearance between the XD Falcon (from memory) and the Mk2 Granada (shown below)
