PonyRider, it would be a dream to have been a high up executive in the old days. Max Wilson, GMH Director of Asia-Pacific in the 1970s, had an specially commissioned Monaro painted in a then experimental colour, and the 350 was removed and made way for a 400ci Oldsmobile V8. Later it was sold to the dealers with a 308. The original 350 was eventually placed back in the car. The interior was along the lines of a Statesman. The car now resides in the Motor Museum of Western Australia.
