Big FJ forks reassembled. It’s a bit of a bear to compress the spring to put the top cap back on but it has to be done so that you can torque the bolt into the damper rod at the other end. Then take the top cap off again to put the correct amount of oil in it. Then fight it back on again. Trying to engage the threads was quite hard with the fork leg vertical so the oil doesn’t slosh out. All done now can reassemble the fairing and put the wheel and mudguard back on. Although it looks like there is a bit of wiring to tidy up while it’s apart.
