Here's another pic from my little collection - taken last year at Baskerville Raceway north of Hobart. I've added the full picture of the SLR 5000 to the GTR XU-1 above but this pic captures the interest of someone we all regard as 'up there with the best'. Just imagine how 'chuffed' you would be if 'gentleman' Jim Richards was perusing your classic. Mine was no more than 20 metres away at the time but a 202 VB Commodore SL was never going to be in the same ballpark as a Torana SLR 5000.
