For those who can read and understand balance sheets, (and I can't) here are some figures from 1959, 1962 and 1983 GMH Annual Reports. I assume the difference in ordinary and preference shares might have something to do when GMH was delisted from the ASX in 1960. Interesting, that no dividends were paid out from 1978 to 1983. I have a run of these Annual Reports (I picked them up at a US Swap Meet and I think some may have come from GM themselves), but note how the earlier ones have great pics throughout, but for 1983 it was definitely a no-frills affair with no illustrations at all.
