After some false starts, a friend of mine has said that he will be doing my car whenever I am ready. At this stage I will leave it until after the festive season as I have enough on my plate in these coming weeks. I finished off replacing the loose and worn rollers on a window mechanism with new pins and slides. I channeled my very long gone blacksmith grandfather for the job. My die grinder, cold chisel and ball-peen hammer came in handy. I will paint the mechanism later. Even though it won't be visible, it will be more satisfying to install a better looking piece.
