Madmuz, this has crossed my mind. My Commodore has a rear cross traffic alert system for the times when you have to reverse blindly out of a parking spot. It detects cars 25m to the sides. The Tesla has the hardware present but not activated for this purpose. It does have a very wide angle reverse camera which partly makes up for it and in Shaun’s case what the in-built dashcam recorded, shown at the very beginning of his video, was visible on his screen. Taken from the still shot that is in your post, the coast was not clear at all! I would still like the radar system activated for extra security. It is a disappointment.
