My collection started, like many, with being gifted for Christmas a Model of Yesteryear motorbike sent from an Aunt in the UK around about 1960. That's what got me hooked. By 1965 I had 68 models in my collection. 1973 it had grown to 420 and I eventually sold off my collection in the early 1990's when it had reached 1,700 models. Sold to a dealer for $10,000 but could have got more if I'd wanted to sell them separately. Picture shows the 1973 collection. I do have a photo of them in the 1990's but contained a person in it that wouldn't want to have their image posted.
