The Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 carried the name of famous races/places in each of its various guises. Powered by a supercharged double overhead cam straight eight engine Alfa produced them in three forms; the long chassis Le Mans, the short chassis Mille Miglia Spider and the Grand Prix Monza. Truly fabulous vehicles which dominated races and rallies in the early and mid 1930s. Image shows Australian "The Maestro" Alf Barrett in his Monza 8C 2300.
