Went for a nice drive back down south in my 300c to pick up a Carter Thermoquad for the Fairlane. Not that the Holley on it isn’t OK but it has a couple of driveability issues that the original carb might sort out. I will need a different air cleaner as the existing one isn’t dished enough. The Holley as fitted masks off a substantial amount of intake port, especially the huge secondaries so I expect this to work better. I might be wrong though.
