I thought it was a customized job, as the car itself was heavily modified with the front and rear spoilers, flared guards, and the super hot turbo engine. I do vividly recall overtaking Murray Carter (the former well known touring car driver) in that Capri one time on one of the back roads in Dandenong or Frankston while i was out "test driving"the car. EDIT: i also noticed in the photos of the Capri cars in your Thread that there were a few subtle body style changes in the English released Capri ll (74-78) from the earlier Capri cars, which i highlighted in the Image below. The curve on the rear where they added the hatchback seems to have been flattened more, the small curved side window has a different shape, and the Capri ll seems to have slightly bigger flares around the wheel arches.
