Very well said MO. It is also the reason that we will never see the delicate beauty of yesteryear with slim pillars and delicate front ends for example as crumple zones/aero/latest fad all conspire against inspiring design. I have just seen the new Ferrari F8 and I like it but you have to view through a 21st Century lens with a liberal dose of F1 inspired bits and pieces. I miss the purity of the 308GTB though.
