I'm with you MarkOastler re the XR Falcon. I remember the stir it caused in the motor industry at the time it was announced. I reckon Ford Australia did a great job of transforming the 1966 US Falcon into our version and promoting it as the "Mustang-bred Falcon", when we all knew it was the other way around. Pity we didn't get the two door sedan, even if they did refer it as a Coupe.
