Hi Mark, Great article ! I purchased the Ex Slako rover as Adam said in 2003 . The car was built as a Group 1 touring car and raced by Patrick Motorsport for Brian yogi Muir from 1980 till the end of 1982 when it was sold to and converted to Group A specs by Andy Rouse. Rouse ran it for his then business partner Charles Sawyer Hoare till the end of 1984 . Tim Slako purchased it at the end of the 1984 season and competed in most ATTC rounds in 1985. The car had 3 different liveries under Slakos ownership, the red as raced by Charles Sawyer Hoare, white for Bathurst 1985 and pink for 1986.
