Ken was an amazing man. I've met his family where we discussed Ken's 1971 Toyota GT Celica that I drive today. His ambition to bring Toyota passenger vehicles to Australia and then for AMI to be the first to assemble and manufacturer outside Japan was a remarkable achievement. Ken's vision is still strong 50 years later with his GT Celica still driving the streets of Melbourne.
