My first car was a 69 Mini Cooper S Mk11. I used to drive into corners a power out of them. I had to changed my driving style when I got my next rear wheel drive car. I loved the Cooper S and often though about re-living my youth and buying one again but got a rude shock at the prices they command. I did had a drive in one about 10 yrs ago and struggled with the tiny peddles. (about 6" between the clutch and accelerator) I admire the styling of the new minis like the new VW beetles, Mustang and Camaros but they are not the real thing.
