Two more US cars also hit the dust in 1955. The Willys Aero started off like the Nash Rambler in 1952, but sales were extremely slow. Its swansong was the Bermuda 2 door hardtop and the Custom 4 door Sedan for '55. About 5000 were made before Willys packed everything off where they were produced in Argentina right through to the '60s. Likewise, Kaiser called it quits in 1955, with their Manhattan, similar to this 1954 Special - only 270 were built. Along with the Willys, everything was sent to Argentina where production lasted until 1962. I always thought the last US Manhattans were a good looking car...
