Sunroof turned out to be relatively easy to fix. I rigged up some rubber line and fed it 10cm down the drain holes in the front corners of the drain channel. Then gave it a solid squirt of compressed air. Heard it gurgle, it spat a lump of yuck on the shed floor. After that I could hear the air escaping under the car and testing it with a cup of water showed both drains working properly. The next bit wasn’t quite so easy. The glass wasn’t quite aligned with the roof when closed, leaving a couple of mm gap between the roof and the rubber seal. There are 4 fasteners on the bracket that allow a few mm of adjustment, so carefully loosening those and pushing the glass up while tightening got it sealing. Again hit it with water, there is a tiny amount getting past the seal which is by design, but it drains quickly and isn’t running down the A pillar any more. Gave it a quick shop vac to dry it out a bit more but I’m very happy I didn’t have to remove the headliner or dismantle the sunroof. Every Chrysler from this period has a broken dipstick, the handles are moulded from cheese. The dipstick was stuck in the tube firmly. A s**** into the remains of the handle and a slide hammer got it out. Replacement handles have become easy to get in the last couple of years. It’s only held on by a roll pin. That’s two jobs done.
