The 4-cylinder Standard Vanguard always had a 2088cc engine, but in 1961 it went to 1998cc in the Six. This of course, was the same engine used in the Triumph 2000 launched at the end of 1963. Great way to sort out any bugs in the Six, as the Vanguard was dying on its feet by then. All Standard did was put the Six badge without any other changes. That's it in the colour pic in the centre.
