In the early 1960s, US Ford division boss Lee Iacocca was destined to revolutionise the automotive industry with two new vehicles characterised by wild horses – the Mustang and the Bronco.

Iacocca foresaw widespread demand for these equine-inspired machines, that would also change conservative perceptions of the Ford brand forever. The Mustang and the Bronco may have been worlds apart in appearance and purpose, yet they shared numerous similarities.
