Emerson Harvey to race for Ricciardo Karts at the Race of Stars on the Gold Coast Saturday October 17th.

We are very excited for Emerson to be invited to race for Ricciardo Karts, the Kart that carries Formula 1 star Daniel Ricciardo’s name.

Michael Patrizzi Co owner of Ricciardo karts said, “We are very excited to have Emerson join the Ricciardo Junior team for the Race of Stars on the Gold Coast. The Harvey name in motor sport says enough and has a long successful history, young Emo is truly living up that potential as he is one of the top Cadet drivers in Australia consistently racing at the front. Having Shannon’s insurance support Emerson shows he has the people watching and supporting his career from an early stage. We welcome Shannon’s into our team for this great event.

The kart won’t be completely foreign to Emerson as he tested for the team earlier in the year and he is hoping to improve on last year’s race where he finished 5th after coming from 25th.

It’s been a pretty good year for the Shannon’s backed Cadet driver, finishing 2nd in the Victorian Championship & is currently in the top 4 in the Australian Championship, with the 5th and final round coming up at Geelong Oct 30th – Nov 1st.

The Race of Stars starts a motor sport festival that is capped off with the V8’s around the streets on the Gold Coast.
