Cars That Made Australia: New Podcast with Tim Ross

Shannons are proud to partner with Nine Entertainment on the rollout of a new podcast: “Cars That Made Australia” hosted by comedian Tim ‘Rosso’ Ross.

In this 8 part podcast series, Tim tells the stories of cars that have made their ways into the hearts of thousands of Australians. Some were made here, others weren’t - but they all share a place in our collective memories.

This podcast tells the story of the car that your folks brought home when you were a kid and you climbed all over the back seat. It’s the car that you crammed into on those hot summer road trips. It’s the model that you saved up for when you were a teenager, or the car that your friend had that took you out of the suburbs. It’s the car your parents brought you home from the hospital in (potentially without being secured properly).

This is the story of the people who drove them and the people that rode in them, this is the story of the CARS THAT MADE AUSTRALIA.

Through a mix of personal anecdotes and in-depth interviews with passionate owners, auto experts and industry insiders, the podcast explores the significant role that cars have played in shaping the Australia’s culture and society over the decades.
