Self-proclaimed car & bike nuts Steve and Michelle share a passion for all things motoring. Steve said he was certainly aware of the Shannons Le Mans 24 Hours competition, but never imagined he would be lucky enough to win it. However, win it he did and it was because of his decision to take out a Shannons home insurance policy that earnt him the big win.
Steve and Michelle’s shared passion for F1 & F6 sidecar racing has taken them around Australia from Phillip Island in Victoria to Warwick in Queensland - and a lot of places in between with Michelle actively participating in F6 sidecar racing.
At home they have a complement of bikes including Steve's BMW R1200 GS and Michelle's Ducati Monster, so their new Indian FTR 1200S motorcycle will fit in very nicely.
Like many enthusiasts it doesn’t stop there. Steve and Michelle also have their cars and a Hot Rod project on the go to add to their stable.
The trip to the Le Mans 24 Hours is in June 2021, so hopefully well and truly after we emerge from the current world-wide COVID-19 crisis. It's something to look forward to and a trip of a lifetime for motoring enthusiasts like Steven and Michelle.
