How did Walkinshaw turn a humble V8 Holden into a fire-spitting motorway monster?
WHEN it comes to high performance Australian cars there are varying degrees of enthusiasts.
Some would experience Holden’s tried and tested, meat and two veg 6.0-litre V8 and be very happy all day long with its 260kW and substantial 517Nm of torque. And rightly so.
Others may yearn for something a little more potent, turning instead to factory-backed performance house HSV and one of their entry-level but larger 6.2-litre V8 powered machines, which pump out 325kW (or 340kW if you wait for the 2015 range).
