DOES the M6 Coupe cramp your style? Can your hair or toupee no longer cope with one more ballistic blow-drying service from a hard-driving M6 Convertible?

Now the Bavarian carmaker has released a third high-performance M6 that melds the swoopy lines of the 6 Series two-door on which it is based upon, with the everyday practicality of the M5 sedan that started the whole shebang.

Dubbed the M6 Gran Coupe, and priced from $299,500 plus on-road costs, it is BMW’s riposte to top-end four-seater “super saloons” like the Porsche Panamera Turbo ($346,100), Aston Martin Rapide ($341,600), Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT-S MC Sportline ($276,400), and Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG ($263,000).
