Welcome to the 75th Land Rover anniversary event to be held in Cooma NSW Easter 2023, a show for Land Rover Collectors, connoisseurs, preservationists, restorers, and enthusiasts. Land Rover 75th Cooma brings together the vehicles, the people, and the stories behind the global name to celebrate Land Rovers amazing history over the last 75 years.
Land Rover 75th Comma sets out to showcase the best examples of the
Land Rover in all its guises, from renovated to restored, rare
conversions, military derivatives, bespoke conversions and much
more.
Star of the show Oxford the Series 1 from the 1st Overland
Expedition 1955 will be on the Classic Land Rover stand along with
many other unique Land Rovers from around Australia and the world.
We are delighted to welcome Mike Bishop from Jaguar Land Rover
Classic UK, Nick Dimbleby worldwide motor sport photo journalist and
Bob Ives winner of the 1989 Camel Trophy Amazon Jungle event for team
UK.
We also see the new Australian national Land Rover awards,
along with the “Mike Bishop Award”. This award is made to individuals,
groups, companies, clubs, or other entries that have made significant
contributions to the preservation of Land Rover history and heritage
here in Australia.
Our show ground will also host a gathering of Australian Land Rover clubs, and we are also delighted to welcome out exhibitors who will be open the duration of the event.
Club day trips, as well as our own 75th Special Land Rover Mystery drive will be taking place. We will have Q&A with Mike, Nick, and Bob, as well as book signings from the trio.
Perentie Beer and food trucks will be providing well earned refreshments over the show weekend, with a very special early evening showing of the First and Last Overland Expeditions from 1955 and 2019.
Sunday is the famous Grand Parade, and we are hoping to break the 2018 record of over 700 Land Rover in one location. And much much more to come.
See you these………
