Harrigan's 9th Rod & Custom Show SUNDAY 16th OCTOBER 2016

Harrigans Rod and Custom Show will again be presented by Harrigan's Drift Inn at Calypso Bay, Jacobs Well (a little bit of Irish charm by the bay). The show will be held on Sunday October 16th from 9:00am to 3:00pm at Harrigan's Drift Inn and will feature premier, state of the art hot rods, classics, customs and street machines.

This hot rod show has developed over the past nine years into the best one day show of its type with high-end elite cars competing for bespoke trophies and large prize money in the order of $9000 for 2016. Organisers are again making space for over 300 vehicles to be on show along the beautiful marina waterfront. There is also an Early Birds Prize draw for one lucky entrant who pre enters (before 7 October) and another Two Lucky Entrants prize draws of $500 and $250 cash for 1st and 2nd.

Roche Group, developers of the Calypso Bay area are again a major sponsor along with Noonan Race Engineering.

Competition in over 30 categories for entrants including Top Car of the Show (Must be Street Driven) $1000, Top Elite (Show Car) $500, Harrigan's Choice $500, Top Street Machine $300, Top Hot Rod $300, Top Muscle Car $250 and Best Engine bay $150.

Proceeds have gone to charities and local service organisations since 2008, with over $40,000 in donations and over $35,000 in prize money and trophies. Charities include Cystic Fibrosis, Multiple Sclerosis, Volunteer Marine Rescue and Surf Life Saving Queensland.

Trade displays including cool clothing, Rock n Roll memorabilia and car parts, kids entertainment and a mega raffle will also feature on the day. Food and drinks will be available in the tavern and on the waterfront show grounds. Rock music, DJ and giveaways all day. Entrants in from 7:00am with gates opening at 9:00am for spectators.
