The Tenth Anniversary of the Gawler to Barossa Veteran & Vintage Run created for motor vehicles built prior to 1930, including motorcycles and commercial vehicles.
The run starts in Gawler at 09:30 am and travels through the picturesque Barossa Valley to Lyndoch for a morning Tea stop and display of vehicles, then continues through the world famous Barossa Valley passing numerous wineries and vast vineyards to Nuriootpa for a BBQ picnic lunch and car display. The run is designed by enthusiasts for enthusiasts, approximately 40 Km with no traffic lights or busy intersections.
Egg & Bacon rolls & BBQ sausages are available at the start, morning tea is included with entry featuring traditional Barossa Bienenstich. BBQ lunch at Tolley Reserve Nuriootpa is also included. Spectators are welcome with later vehicles and several food outlets are available close by. Some parking is reserved for post 1930 vehicles with Historic (Club) registration.
This year the Packard Automobile Club of Australia will be holding their National Rally in conjunction and will participate in this event.
