FIRST AID FOR MOTORCYCLISTS

This is a First Aid HLTAID003 Provide First Aid and accident scene management course suitable for riders pillions and admirers or anyone who is on the road who wants to gain extensive and valuable learning and skills in how to be an effective first responder.

Topics include such things as emergency helmet removal, moving a casualty away from danger, picking up a motorbike, emergency communications in remote areas, legal aspects of providing first aid, accident prevention and techniques such as fatigue management and group riding guidelines.

A Government Recognised Statement of Attainment for the following Awards will be issued on successful completion of this course
HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
HLTAID002 Provide basic emergency life support
HLTAID003 Provide First Aid

There are pre course learning requirements and a USI is also require to be obtained to attend and complete this course.

This course is recommended to be renewed every 36 months in line with Australian Industry standards.
