First event for 2023.
Picnic run to Badger Weir via Yarra Glen and Old Healesville Road. Badger Weir picnic grounds are heavily timbered with plenty of shade. There is a small walk to the Weir, about 1.2 km or just relax amongst the majestic flora and scenery.
MEET: Chirnside Park Shopping Centre
DEPART: 10:45am. Or arrive earlier for a coffee.
ROUTE: Depart to Healesville via Yarra Glen and Old Healesville Road. At Healesville drive through town, cross the creek and take first turn right into Don Road. Travel up Don Road for about 1 kilometre, entrance to Badger Weir on the left.
LUNCH: Please bring picnic basket, chair and table. BBQs and shelters are available at the park.
