History
Purchased my Coronet 500 in 2013, when I lived in Finland. Rebuilt the numbers matching drivetrain as below. Brought her back to Australia when I returned here in 2022.
My car is using its' original 383 block, bored .030, line bored crank journals, magnafluxed, Hughes Engines Hydraulic roller Whiplash cam, Hughes Roller rockers and lifters, CPPA "streetfighter" alloy heads, fully ported and polished by Bruce Toth of Toth Performance. Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Holley 750 DP Ultra carb, Forged alloy pistons (flat top), 9.7:1 compression. 727 trans has a TransGo heavy duty rebuild, extra steels and clutches, plus kevlar bands, 4 pinion planetary, etc. Rear end is 489 case 8 3/4, with Eaton Truetrac limited slip diff, using 3.23:1 gearing.
