History
I am the third owner of the bike, I bought it from a guy in Sydney, N.S.W. in October 2015. The bike was first purchased in Darwin, NT in 2005 and the second owner bought it in 2010. The 2nd owner was a sailor and the bike was on the move quite a lot and had many homes. He was based at Cairns, QLD for a fair while and that's where it was registered when I bought it. It's been very reliable and it's a good looker so I'm quite happy with it.
Modifications
It has got "Gasser" baffles on the exhaust which sound fantastic. I got them from the U.S.A. because they just sounded the best, I couldn't get them here. The breather restrictor has been taken off and the original air filter has been replaced with K&N one. The bike has been re-jetted to suit the pipes which has given it a little more brake horse power. The air jets on the heads have also been removed, this gets rid of the ping in the exhaust. I have also put Bar-End mirrors on it to give it more of a classic look, they work fine.
