purchased 5yrs ago found in a shed south coast nsw last rego on bike 1991, took 3months getting bike to run, had numerous problems
since after re rego motor rebuild paint redone. seat reupholstered new mufflers and general maintenance run well till accident in late 2012,problems with old bikes is finding original parts found parts on the internet form around the world (thanks microsoft) decided to upgrade parts to have the bike handle brake and perform better with today,s vehicles (abs Braked vehicles) see below for modification
Modifications
front end fitted floating disc ,emulators & progressive spring to reduced dive when braking,fork brace to stop twist,motor fitted high performance mikes xs 750cc kit with new piston, cam, double valve springs new rocker arms, complete motor rebuild,transmission
new primary reduce gear of 20% final drive 18/34 tooth set up reduced engine revs (old 4200rpm @ 100klms to 2800rpm@100klms)
new exhaust 1 3/4" greater exhaust flow with after market look alike megaphones, body custom crash bars with highway pegs fitted,higher handle bars riser for comfort,weather shield fitted, larger petol tank from a c model for greater range, fuel gauge for c model only tank,heated hand grips, custom side plate (ugly plates) yamaha 500cc rear shocks shorter than original & softer ride, hand made luggage rack fitted, lighting. new diamond cut headlight & cafe blinkers and to finish plenty of chrome easy to clean
