My first car was a 1976 Holden SS Torana. I bought this car back when I was 16 (1992) with all my hard earned savings. It cost me a whopping $9k which was a ton of money back then for a 16 year old. My mum used to come and pick me up from school on a Friday in it and I would drive it home with my L plates on and a few female passengers who also thought they were too cool for school. The day I turned 18 I went and got my licence at 9am so I could finally drive my car all by myself. Not a bad way to start a driving career!
