Our XT Fairmont has been in the family since it was about 3 months old (three generations) had been sitting in my Mums garage for over 28 years it is 100% original 221cc 6cyl auto. I replaced all the bushes, rebuilt the transmission, fixed the brakes, and got it registered (With the same plates that it was originally registered but now QLD instead of NSW), and now it is my daily driver to work. Drives great for a 50 year old car and still managed to keep it in the family. Contemplaying if I should restore it or keep it the way it.
