Brought out to Australia as a personal import in 1968.
Modifications
VG body taken back to bare metal & given full POR15 & baked enamel respray. Original 875cc engine replaced with full 998 Reg Patten built 'fast road' spec on twin Stromberg CD150 carbs. UK Mk2 gearbox, 1" driveshafts, Spax adjustable shocks, Monte Carlo springs, Fiesta front P/A discs, 5.5 x 13" Superlites, concealed Classic Mini heater matrix added as aux front radiator, electronic ignition, lightweight starter & alternator. Mountney 13" steering wheel, 100mph speedo,temp gauge, voltmeter, oil pressure gauge and rev counter fitted + spot, fog & reversing lights.
