History
I purchased my first car on 22nd February 1967 from Lanes Motors in Camberwell (Vic) for $375. It was a great car, took me to some great places (including driving over the great boulders of the You Yangs). It did several motorkhanas, one car trial and several trips into the snow. It had trafficators in the B pillar, and as I was legally waiting to execute a right turn, another car ran into the back of it. Everything rearward of the back window was bent, but it lived and was repaired to drive another day.
It was a great all around car, and to this day I still have the suction cap 12v demister that I needed for those snow trips!!
I owned that vehicle for over 18 months, which is way longer than the average ownership time of a car for me.
