History
Through my long association in the Nissan Dealer network, I was fortunate to acquire through Gibson Motorsport a number of parts & panels, suspension and wheels from the works HR31 race car as driven by Mark Skaife (3). My brother & I then located a vehicle in Japan which we then imported and went to work of trying to replicate the original number 3 vehicle. With only pictures and posters I had collected over the years we went about copying the paint scheme and sign writing and ended up with what you see today. The engine was rebuilt using brand new block, crank, head, cams, pistons & rings etc. The engine was machined & balanced with the assistance of Orger engines who were involved in the original engine work for Gibson Motorsport. The assembly and tuning was done by Simon @ Nizpro personally with fantastic results. Approx 210kw @ rw and 600+ flb torque. Used for club track days, car shows & promotion work the vehicle has given us enjoyable fun. Its not bad for a replica.
