History
Traded (and wholesaled as-is) through Lou Guthry Melbourne in 2024, I don't know where it went after that. Purchased by me in Blue Mountains around 2018? Used for club runs in Dubbo region, covered about 2000km. Speedo cluster replaced so jumps from 240k to 300k in the history, but that's the reason. Have located original defective unit if you are the new owner and would like it back for repairs etc. Also have a paint matched 1994 style foglight front for it as spares. Ditto above. When I traded the car it had a failed brake booster. I miss this car, it was such an oddball XJ40 but the nicest straightest '40 body I've seen in over a decade. Hope it turns up on the road again. (Photos Copyright Lou Guthry Motors - note: they did not prepare this vehicle for sale, this is as I traded it. PS - they're great so hit them up if you're looking for a big cat!)
Modifications
Unusual early car with full wood dash, Airbag wheel and other changes. Period modifications? include some 1993-94 style facelift parts eg Arden boot infill, 1993-94 wheels. Daimler britework and interior (mostly). It's a Sovereign originally.
