History
I spent a very long time trawling through every online car directory I could find looking for something I liked, but the BMW 3 series was what I kept coming back to. It had great looks, decent performance, was practical, got average fuel economy and seemed as though it would be a great car to live with and have some fun in. After countless hours spent searching and creating a shortlist of cars I would buy, I went over to Melbourne (I live in Tassie) with my dad and spent a few days just looking at 3 series. Turned out that the first car we looked at was the one I ended up with, a beautiful LeMans blue example with the desirable MSport package and 18" wheels. We managed to close the deal and get the car onto the Spirit crossing we had booked with just hours to spare. The car has been great to me and even when I've asked it to perform far above what can be expected of a base-model 320i it has always delivered and never missed a beat. I have become very enthusiastic about the BMW brand over my ownership period of the car and have decided to keep it until I can afford an E92 M3.
Modifications
None, BMW's are nicest when left alone. (Minus small and tasteful alterations)
