History
The VK SL Group A was the first 'Group A' produced by Brock / HDT in 1984, prior to the VK SS Group A in 1985.
This VK is number 2 of 18 - 308 / 5 litre version (then HDT went to the 304 / 4.9 ltre engine).
I have owned my car for over 6 years, and it is all original - paint, interior, motor, gearbox etc - except for the 1984 V5 Simmons Rims.
Engine Specs -
308 Cubic Inch HDT Modified Pushrod V8, Overhead Valve - 2 valves per cylinder; Compression Ratio: 9.2:1; Bore x Stroke (mm): 101.6mm x 76.8mm; Max Power 177kw @ 4800rpm; Maximum Torque: 419Nm @ 3500rpm.
4 barrel Rochester Carbuerettor and port matched inlet manifold with HDT Cold Air induction.
