History
My first project car was an Alfa Romeo. Back in my teenage years, I spotted an old Alfa, and it was like nothing I had seen before. It also drove better than the cars of the time in 2005. With little thought, I was hooked on almost every aspect of the car. I decided to buy it for a project at a bargain price: $500.
The bargain quickly turned into a rust heap as the car developed many major rust issues, even though not actually on the road. I started major mechanical projects on it, to fix the motor, and go right through the car for any other problems within my capacity. However, sadly the rust saw it never getting on the road.
Later in 2007 I sold the vehicle for $800. Which was a shame really, because I did really like the vehicle. I can easily remember the days working on it, learning the Automotive trade at TAFE and practicing almost everything I learned at home.
If I had the chance I would buy another.
