History
Bought in 1981 for the princely sum of $1500. It was a bit of a rust bucket when I got it and in much need of some TLC, but everything was still original and hadn’t been modified or fiddled with.
Modifications
It came fitted with an E49 4 speed box in place of the original 3 speed which made it a much nicer car to drive so I left it there. The car has been restored twice in the 33 years that I have owned it as I tend to use for its intended purpose and drive it reasonably hard at selected track events.
