History
Brought out from England in the early seventies, owned by several members of the Jaguar club (vic) two twice! The car has travelled in most states in Aust, including Darwin twice, Perth once and Tasmania. The car is driven very reguarly and has never been restored but cherished by its owners. I have a photo of it at Hume Weir and I have competed at hillclimbs, sprints and at Winton, it is a joy to drive and I count myself lucky to be the current custodian.
Modifications
The car has been uprated many years ago. The cams have a D type profile and it is fitted with extractors. The motor was apparently blueprinted but I cannot verify it because it has not been apart in my 14 year ownership. The front end has two sway bars fitted, as did the factory lightweights, Koni shockers, and ventilated discs. The rear has uprated springs, Koni shockers and LSD. The engine delivers wonderful torque.
