Was sitting in a mates paddock and I took it on as a project initially to just get it going. I could see the potential in it and one thing led to another resulting in a full rebuild.
Modifications
Full cab-off restoration. Chassis painted in black enamel. Cab painted in 2 pack, underside of cab/under guards stone guarded.
New Dobinsons springs, shocks & u-bolts.
New urethane bushes throughout inc body mounts.
DL-T (2.8 turbo diesel from a Rocky) rebuilt with new head, valves, pistons, liners, all machining etc.
2.5" exhaust with straight through muffler.
Gearbox & transfer case overhauled.
All axle bearings & seals replaced.
New uni joints in front & rear shafts.
Front CV joints replaced/swivel hubs overhauled.
Rear brakes overhauled inc drums machined & new brake hose.
Front disc brakes from an F60 fitted, callipers overhauled, new pads & brake hoses.
New master cylinder.
Twin thermo fans.
New fuel lines with glass bowl filter.
Extended diff breathers.
New front windscreen.
Front & rear windscreen seals replaced.
Windows tinted.
New door seals & bailey channel.
Seats reupholstered in black vinyl.
New drivers seatbelt.
New 15x7 steel rims & Maxxis mud tyres.
Steel tray sandblasted & painted.
LED tail lights.
H4 headlight conversion.
Rear diff overhauled with new bearings.
NSW Engineer Certificate (required due to approx 30% power increase).
Full NSW registration.
