History
A bit of a history of love and hate with sidecars. This is not Ural but is "Dnepr" - Ukranian version of the Russian original bike. It was officially imported to AU and had a compliance plate, inc correct placement of the sidecar. The overall quality was pretty robust however the reliability of the engine was quite terrible. At approximately 7K one of the piston rings cracked, causing the piston to jam and subsequently causing major engine failure. As this happened whilst riding approx 90k/h -the engine was beyond repair. I ended up sourcing a brand new engine from Ukraine which was an ordeal in itself as it had to be shipped in parts inc the new clean block, which I assembled and put it all back. The ride quality overall was always acceptable but very rough, which wad the overall nature of this bike, very crude and unrefined.
